Lifetime Referral Program Policies
- The
following policies apply to the Arkansas.Net Lifetime Referral
Program. The term "REFERER" indicates the customer to whom the
referral credits are awarded. The term "REFEREE" indicates the
new customer which was referred to Arkansas.Net's services by
"REFERER".
-
In order to participate in the Arkansas.Net Lifetime Referral
Program, the REFERER must maintain an active Arkansas.Net account
in good standing.
- Referral
credits are awarded as follows: Each time a new account is created,
Arkansas.Net asks if the account was referred by one of it's members.
If the new account holder responds appropriately, Arkansas.Net
records this information in the 'referral' field of the REFEREE's
account record. These fields are processed each month during the
credit eligability period. For each qualifying referral field
listing the REFERER, a $1.00 credit is applied to the REFERER's
account.
- The
total amount of referral credits applied to an the REFERRER's
account cannot result in a negative balance. Referral credits
which exceed the monthly service fees for the REFERRER's account
are discarded and are not accrued.
- In
order to receive referral credits, the REFEREE's account must
be active and in good standing during the credit eligability period.
Referral credits are not awarded for inactive accounts.
- If
the REFERER cancels his Arkansas.Net account or is cancelled for
ANY reason including billing problems or non-payment, all referral
fields referencing the REFERER's account are removed. When the
referer reactivates his account, he will no longer be awarded
referral credits for referrals which took place prior to his account's
cancellation. The REFERER can still participate in the referral
program, but only new referrals (ie: those which take place after
the reactivation of his account) will be applied as credits.
- A
referral credit cannot be refunded. In other words, a referral
credit has no cash value. A referral credit can only be used towards
payment of monthly service fees through Arkansas.Net.
