Services Support Company

Arkansas.Net is now offering high-speed DSL in AT&T service areas. The cost is only $35/mo - in most cases you'd replace your dial-up service with DSL so your monthly fee would only be $35/mo. DSL service also includes 4 e-mail addresses. To find out if DSL is available in your area, fill out our DSL qualification form.

In order to use DSL you will have to have a DSL modem. DSL modems sell for for $35.00. This price does not include tax and shipping. You can purchase DSL modems directly from Arkansas.Net.

Here are some advantages to Arkansas.Net's DSL:

  • Fast speeds up to 1.5Mbps download and 384kbps upload. That's up to 24 times faster than dial-up
  • You don't need a separate phone line for DSL -- you can be connected to the Internet and use your phone at the same time. If you have a dedicated line for your dial-up service you can save that cost each month!

  • You can connect more than one computer to the Internet at the same time using DSL. You will have to purchase a router to connect more than one computer (router not included).

  • Arkansas.Net's customer service agents are located in the United States. They understand your questions and can help you right away. Arkansas.Net's support agents don't have to transfer you from department to department, resulting in faster resolution to your support needs. Compare that to AT&T's overseas support which is difficult to understand and who cannot help with all but the most simple of support issues.

If you would like more information about our DSL service please give us a call at (800) 360-8435 or e-mail support@arkansas.net. Prior to calling, however, make sure DSL is available at your location by filling out the DSL qualification form.

Phishing

Arkansas.Net has recently received reports of two different Phishing e-mails sent to some of it's customers. Phishing e-mails contain instructions to send your username and password to what appears to be Arkansas.Net customer service. These e-mails are cleverly disguised to appear legitimate, but if you look very carefully you will notice that the Reply-to address does not go to Arkansas.Net or the web addresses do not direct you to an Arkansas.Net web site.

Arkansas.Net would never ask you to send your username or password via e-mail, nor would we "suspend" your account for no reason.

If you receive an e-mail instructing you to send your username and password via e-mail, please do not follow the instructions. If you have any questions or comments about Phishing, or if you are concerned that you have accidentally sent your username or password to someone, please contact Arkansas.Net technical support.

The Arkansas.Net Plus Pack is a perfect complement to your standard dial-up account by offering you more e-mail addresses, extra web space, free software upgrades, and a calendar reminder service for the low monthly fee of only $5. Click here to order now!
